About the role
Our client is a growth-stage B2B SaaS company building tools used by thousands of teams. They are investing in platform reliability and developer experience and need an experienced backend engineer to help shape the next phase of their architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs.
- Improve reliability, observability, and performance of core systems.
- Collaborate with product and design on new capabilities.
- Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to technical direction.
Requirements
- 5+ years building production backend systems.
- Strong with a modern typed language (Go, TypeScript, Java, or similar).
- Solid grounding in databases, queues, and distributed systems.
- Comfortable owning services end to end.
Preferred experience
- Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
