Lead the finance function for a well-capitalised financial services business, owning reporting, controls, and the month-end close.
About the role
A established financial services business is strengthening its finance leadership. The Financial Controller will own reporting and controls and partner with the leadership team on planning and decision support.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly close, statutory reporting, and audit.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
- Manage and develop a small finance team.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
- 7+ years in finance, including a controllership or senior management role.
- Strong technical accounting and controls background.
Preferred experience
- Financial services or regulated-industry experience.
- Experience managing audits and external stakeholders.
